Kaduna family slaughtered by herdsmen

Unidentified gunmen just after midnight today  attacked villagers  at Madauchi village in Zonkwa, Zango Kataf Local government of Kaduna state, in Nigeria’s northwest and killed seven  members of a family.

According to a resident of Madauchi village  who spoke to P.M.News via telephone,the attackers suspected to be Fulani herdsmen  stormed  the village between midnight  and 1 a.m today and killed the  seven family members. They also burnt their house.

Nigerian Government Ranked Second Most Corrupt In The World - Gallup Poll

Click to Enlarge!The perception of Nigeria’s government seems to have crashed further, with most Nigerians rating their country’s leadership as the second most corrupt in the world, a Gallup poll just made public has revealed.

Gallup, in its first-ever report on “Global States of Mind: New Metrics for World Leaders.”, said 94 percent of Nigerians believe there is widespread corruption in government.

Zakari Biu released from detention after 9 months

NINE months after he was detained over alleged complicity in the escape of Boko Haram kingpin, Kabiru Sokoto, former Commissioner of Police in charge of Special Investi-gations at Zone Seven Police Command, Abuja, Mr Zakari Biu, has been released from detention.

Jonathan, South-East govs discuss Second Niger Bridge, others

According to the source, Pete Eneh died few moments ago at Park Lane hospital in Enugu.
