CAR MADE OUT OF BAMBOO SPOTTED IN OYO STATE NIGERIA



Up until now, all we’ve been hearing is Nigeria’s Got Talent but we haven’t really seen a raw talent exhibition as in the case of Mr Obaniyi, a man who invented a car out of raw bamboo in Ibadan , Oyo State Nigeria.

According to eyewitnesses of this creative wonder on wheel, the inventor,

Mr Obaniyi who used his cellular number 08121687680 as the car’s plate# said it took him over 12 months to source the fund for all the materials he used.

He drove the car from Bodija Ibadan to Oyo state Secretariat with no problem and

Removing Google Maps May Push Potential Apple Customers Toward Android

On TechCrunch this morning in a story following Google Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt’s travels through Asia, writer Darrell Etherington noted that Schmidt is quietly but firmly stating Google’s position with respect to patents, partners, and Apple.

Nokia counsels Nigerians to halt purchase of inferior phones

Lagos – Mr Silvin Sinan, the Head of Nokia Care Centre, Nokia West Africa, has advised mobile phone users in Nigeria to desist from purchasing substandard ones.
Sinan in Lagos on Monday said that substandard products had no value for the money spent on them.

He also said that counterfeited product was hazardous to the users’ health due to excessive radiation from the fake device, adding that such product also do not have long life span.

Sinan said that consumers were often constrained by ignorance, poverty and the inability to detect

Apple to launch ‘iPad Mini’

Apple Inc.’s component suppliers in Asia are preparing for the mass production of a tablet computer with a smaller screen than the iPad. People familiar with the situation said, suggesting a launch for the device is near.

Two of the people said that the tablet’s screen will likely be smaller than 8 inches. The iPad’s screen measures 9.7 inches, unchanged since the first model was released in 2010.

Officials at the component suppliers, who declined to be named, said this week that Apple has told them to prepare for mass production of the smaller tablet. The Wall Street Journal reported in February that

Samsung to release a ‘sequel’ to Galaxy Note in October


Samsung’s Galaxy Note tablet has been a runaway hit – putting a dent in Apple’s lead in the tablet market with 7 million sales – and now Samsung is to release a ‘sequel’ this October.
The follow-up, Galaxy Note 2, will have an even bigger screen at 5.5-inches, and a super high-resolution screen with a resolution of 1680×1050.
