SS2 student arrested, accused of having sex with 4-yr-old

A 17-year-old Senior Secondary School student of Ansar-u-Deen Secondary School, Saki, Oyo State, (names withheld), has been arrested by the police in connection with an alleged defilement of a four-year-old girl (names withheld).

The incident was reported to have occurred on Sunday, November 11 at Ile Mesiah, Modina area of Saki, when the little girl’s mother, Mrs Sherifat Ahmed, sent her on an errand to go and buy a razor from a neighbour’s shop within the compound they reside in.

Suicide bombers have attacked a church inside a military barracks in Kaduna state in northern Nigeria, killing 11 people and injuring 30, officials say.

A military spokesman told the BBC two vehicles were driven into the barracks in Jaji in what he described as “surprising and an embarrassment”.

At least ten worshippers were killed this afternoon as two car bombs exploded at  the Military Protestant church inside the Armed Forces Command and Staff College in Jaji, near Kaduna. An unspecified number of worshippers were injured.

The director of army public relations, Brigadier General Bola  Koleosho, confirmed the attacks to SaharaReporters. He also disclosed that the deadly explosions happened around 12: 30 p.m. Nigerian time.
