She reportedly told her audience that the security situation in Nigeria requires the commitment of the youths to peace and unity of the
country.

Congratulating Imagwe on his recent appointment, the First Lady charged him to use his office to quicken the process of growth for the youths.

”I congratulate you on your appointment and challenge you to deploy this strength positively to uphold the unity of this country and quicken the process of growth.

”More importantly, the security situation in the land requires the commitment of the youth and the nation to peace making and peace building.

”Therefore, in my capacity as the sitting president of the African First Ladies Peace Mission, I enjoin you to produce a framework for engaging the nation’s overwhelming population of youths in the development of a national lifestyle of peace.”

Earlier, Imagwe, who said the visit was a ”solidarity visit,’’ pledged his readiness to work with the First Lady in his capacity as a youth ambassador.

He said that the major challenge faced by the youths was unemployment and urged that private enterprises should collaborate with the government to generate employment.
