Nigeria’s controversial Minister of Petroleum
Resources, Diezani Allison-Madueke, has returned to a London hospital to
continue treatment for an undisclosed ailment that is believed to be
cancer.
Sources said today that Mrs. Allison-Madueke made the journey last
week, and began a daily therapy. She is yet to return to Abuja. Her
one-week absence from Abuja has emboldened those Nigerians who have been
calling for her removal to further pressure President Goodluck Jonathan

House of Fuji Commotion Star, Ngozi Nwosu is sick and needs help. Mr
Seun Oloketuyi was on the 'who wants to be a millionaire' show yesterday
and won N1m on her behalf. Ngozi is suffering from a kidney related
ailment. Those who know the once robust and lively actress couldn't stop
shedding tears as she was brought into the game show premises
yesterday. .

FG Declares 3-day Public Holiday To Mark Christmas, New Year
The
Federal Government has declared Tuesday, Dec. 25, and Wednesday, Dec.
26, as Public Holidays to commemorate the Christmas and Boxing Day
celebrations.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary in
the Ministry of Interior, Mrs Anasthesia Nwaobia, on Monday, in Abuja.
Similarly, the statement said that Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013
has also been declared as Public Holiday to mark the New Year. The
Minister of Interior, Mr Abba Moro, declared the holidays on behalf of
the Federal Government.
Moro enjoined all Nigerians irrespective of their religious beliefs

pilots – Commander Murtala Daba and Lt. Adeyemi Sowole – tried in vain
