Gunmen Saturday night killed a member of the Kano state House of Assembly at Unguma Uku, a district in Kano State.Two other persons with him during the attack were severely wounded.
Eyewitnesses said that the lawmaker, Ibrahim Abba Garko, was shot in the head and chest.
The gunmen who rode on a motorbike, shot sporadically into space as they left the scene.
